The X11 Pro Omni and the X9 Pro Omni are two 2025 models from the same generation of the Deebot lineup, separated by 170 € and one specific capability: obstacle crossing.

The verdict in one sentence

Take the X9 Pro Omni on a single-level home; move up to the X11 Pro Omni only if you have thresholds or steps up to 4 cm to cross — it's the only real difference between the two.

What really sets them apart

Obstacle crossing, the deciding criterion

The X11 Pro Omni packs TruePass, a 4-wheel-drive system that crosses thresholds up to 2.4 cm and double steps up to 4 cm. The X9 Pro Omni doesn't have this feature. On a single-level home, this capability never comes into play; on an older home or a duplex, it concretely changes what the robot can cover on its own.

Close suction, a gap mostly seen on carpet

19,500 Pa versus 16,600 Pa: the gap exists, but becomes marginal on hard floor. It's more noticeable on thick carpet or with several long-haired pets, where the brush has to fight against fibres sinking in.

An identical dock architecture

Auto-empty, hot-water mopping, drying, automatic detergent dosing: both robots share the same full-dock logic. The price therefore doesn't fund extra maintenance comfort, but the chassis and obstacle crossing.

Take the X11 Pro Omni if…

  • Your home has thresholds or level changes up to 4 cm.
  • You have several long-haired pets and thick carpets.
  • You prefer the higher spec sheet of the two models.

Take the X9 Pro Omni if…

  • Your home is single-level or thresholds don't exceed 2 cm.
  • Your floors are mostly hard.
  • You'd rather keep 170 € than pay for unused crossing capability.

Our recommendation

Measure your thresholds before deciding: it's the only criterion that should really decide between these two models. If in doubt, or if budget allows going further, the X12 Pro Omni at 799 € deserves a look before a final purchase — head to our full ranking.

Frequently asked questions

Is the X11 Pro Omni worth 170 € more than the X9 Pro Omni?

Only if your home has thresholds or level changes up to 4 cm: that’s the real difference between the two models, via the 4-wheel-drive TruePass system, absent from the X9 Pro Omni.

Does suction differ much between the two?

19,500 Pa versus 16,600 Pa — a real gap, but one mostly felt on thick carpet, not on hard floor where both already comfortably clear the useful threshold.

Is the X9 Pro Omni a dated model?

No, it’s a still-relevant 2025 model, with the same dock architecture as the X11 Pro Omni (auto-empty, mopping, drying, automatic detergent).

Wouldn’t the X12 Pro Omni be a better choice than both?

At 799 €, the X12 Pro Omni (2026) offers more suction than both and more recent navigation. It deserves to be compared before deciding between the X11 and X9 Pro Omni.
